  1. User and Account traits contain valuable information on users. But there's no way to search traits via the API or admin console. So if you want to search users by a specific ID, name, company etc..., you can't.

  2. People should be allowed to upvote/"like"/+1 comments; this would be an enhancement in community engagement with ideas

  4. When searching ideas, articles or tickets, you can enter a phrase, but you can't do an exact match.

For example, if I only want to see ideas with the phrase "Add a new widget color," I can't. I will pull up any idea with anywhere from one to all of those keywords.

Being able to do an exact search like you can on Google would be super helpful for finding specific ideas, articles or tickets.

  5. There's a spam filter for comments, but not ideas on the forum. This means a lot of spam ideas make it through and have to manually deleted by the admin (and are visible to other users until they are removed).

Having a filter that learned and pro-actively marked things as spam would be great.

  6. We would like to invite people, a sub community, to participate in release planning. As part of this, we would like to present them with a subset of the ideas from the large community forum (and maybe some 'interal' ideas as well). We would not want to move ideas from the large community forum since that could make people in the large community forum confused. We would like to copy ideas, preferably including any discussions and attached files if possible. However, we would not want to copy their votes. We would like to start fresh in the sub community forum.

  7. It would be helpful if you could see a history of how the suggestion was updated and by whom, just like you can with tickets.

Right now if a suggestion is edited, moved to another forum, has its category or labels changed, etc., there's no history of who made the change, when the change was made, or that a change was even made.

  9. When drafting a new Article I (as an Admin) want better text styling features in order to make the information more understandable to my end-user. See sample attached...

I also want to be able to apply header styles and paragraph styles to larger bodies of text quickly. See Google Docs as a good reference. Right now the only options is to paste and retain formatting, or to remove all styles from the text.

I would also want to set my own custom header styles and save them for all admins to use in the admin publishing console.

  10. Why don’t you at least implement the font size changeable in the WYSIWYG editor as every todays basic HTML editor has?

Every webmail editor supports that today, so I don’t understand why you don’t support that.
As well I can’t even underline something – this is absolutely the must have for not HTML editing:
    - font size not supported
    - font colour not supported
    - underline not supported - if I press “Ctrl-U” I get
    italic writing even).
    - bold supported
    - italic supported
    - bullet points supported
nice to have - can be done in a different way:
    -…

  12. Right now the date/time format is US. It would be nice if you could customize this (like for European users) or if it was done automatically based on the admins location.

  15. Here's the idea:

The first page a user sees when visiting a ZenRep page isn't a list of ideas that may or may not have been accepted by the administrators sorted by vote, what they see instead is this:

Ideas that have been started, then
Ideas that have been accepted, then
Ideas that are under review, then
    Ideas that have been completed

Then on a completely separate page: Ideas sorted descending by votes that are not completed, accepted, under review, started, or declined (basically an upcoming ideas list).

You know what I'd call this? A public facing roadmap without ETA…

  16. Right now you can import messages, and even the users who sent the messages, but there's no way to import comments. However, comments are part of the discussion, and you need to be able to add them too.

  17. I've been usability testing a test version of our ZenRep forums before they go live. Our users frequently use the product name as they are describing an issue (e.g., "Please do [some change] to [product]"). Because the idea filtering is based on an OR list of words, as soon as users type "[product]" 2 things happen:

    1. The website speed crawls to a standstill, making it hard for them to continue typing and increasing their frustration.

    2. A huge list of ideas appear that are no longer of any help whatsoever to them when looking for similar ideas.

    I'd like to be…

  18. Currently we can only list one level of categories in feedback forums, which causes some confusion for our users, for example we have five categories for our Content Management System. Users prefer to have "Content Management System" at the top level then drill down to specific request i.e. "Content Management System --> Postings"

    Thanks.

  19. I was looking through the suggestions in the Messaging category. There are at least two ideas that are getting voted on for the same idea. Facebook chat integration doesn't let you send messages to offline contacts. One has 222 votes the other has 115 votes. It would be cool if there was a way the users could vote to merge the two ideas and combine or pool the votes.
