  1. When receiving messages we need to have more than just the title and description. Other fields, such as associated budget, problem analysis, etc. would be useful. The administrator would also need to define the field type, if its required, and validation patterns.

    ZenRep has several new export options to help you better analyze messages and users.

    - You can now export a list of users almost anywhere in ZenRep – the main users list, users on a message, or in an account. The export includes all the information that we have about the user, including their custom fields, accounts, and location.

  7. I love the addition of moderation to ZenRep...if you have multiple forums, you may need different moderation needs per forum, so I think they should be applied at the forum level and not at the total accout level

  9. It's very frustrating to put in two search words and have ideas come up with only one of the terms before ideas that have both terms.

    For example, if I searched for "Morning Commute" I'll get results that only have "Morning" before results that have both "Morning" and "Commute". Or if I want to find only "Evening Commute" results, I'd like to be able to exclude results that have the word "Morning".

    This is a large problem when many of our ideas involve phrases where one word is extremely common, and the other word is used in multiple concepts. Being…

  11. We are often trying to locate a full list of all the items that a user has sent in. The view in the user management console is very cumbersome, so we would like to be able to filter in the message management view by user.

  14. Provide the ability for admins to take an idea that was submitted and split it into two.
    The reason is because sometimes someone posts an idea that consists of two aspects, that to us, are two different ideas. Lets say we already have one feature they ask for but not another, we cannot assign the statuses to the requests properly.
    When splitting, just let us pick what description text and title to put in the new ticket. I realize splitting will cost the voter more votes, but if the workaround to avoid that is let us close one of the…

  16. It would be helpful if you could see a history of how the suggestion was updated and by whom, just like you can with tickets.

    Right now if a suggestion is edited, moved to another forum, has its category or labels changed, etc., there's no history of who made the change, when the change was made, or that a change was even made.

  17. Sometimes admins have old ideas that they don't want to remove from the forum. They still want users to be able to view the idea, but they don't votes OR comments on the ideas.

    One reason they want to keep these ideas intact is to keep the users happy, foster a healthy relationship, and maintain confidence in the ZenRep forum.

  18. I've been usability testing a test version of our ZenRep forums before they go live. Our users frequently use the product name as they are describing an issue (e.g., "Please do [some change] to [product]"). Because the idea filtering is based on an OR list of words, as soon as users type "[product]" 2 things happen:

    1. The website speed crawls to a standstill, making it hard for them to continue typing and increasing their frustration.

    2. A huge list of ideas appear that are no longer of any help whatsoever to them when looking for similar ideas.

  19. Currently we can only list one level of categories in feedback forums, which causes some confusion for our users, for example we have five categories for our Content Management System. Users prefer to have "Content Management System" at the top level then drill down to specific request i.e. "Content Management System --> Postings"
