  1. Right now you can import messages, and even the users who sent the messages, but there's no way to import comments. However, comments are part of the discussion, and you need to be able to add them too.

  2. Allow Admins to generate a report that shows the top 20 ideas for the last month (Not the ideas with the highest vote count, but the ideas that have received the most votes during that time frame)

  3. Here's the idea:

    The first page a user sees when visiting a ZenRep page isn't a list of ideas that may or may not have been accepted by the administrators sorted by vote, what they see instead is this:

    Ideas that have been started, then
    Ideas that have been accepted, then
    Ideas that are under review, then
    Ideas that have been completed

    Then on a completely separate page: Ideas sorted descending by votes that are not completed, accepted, under review, started, or declined (basically an upcoming ideas list).

    You know what I'd call this? A public facing roadmap without ETA…

  4. I've been usability testing a test version of our ZenRep forums before they go live. Our users frequently use the product name as they are describing an issue (e.g., "Please do [some change] to [product]"). Because the idea filtering is based on an OR list of words, as soon as users type "[product]" 2 things happen:

    1. The website speed crawls to a standstill, making it hard for them to continue typing and increasing their frustration.

    2. A huge list of ideas appear that are no longer of any help whatsoever to them when looking for similar ideas.

  5. Currently we can only list one level of categories in feedback forums, which causes some confusion for our users, for example we have five categories for our Content Management System. Users prefer to have "Content Management System" at the top level then drill down to specific request i.e. "Content Management System --> Postings"

  9. I was looking through the suggestions in the Messaging category. There are at least two ideas that are getting voted on for the same idea. Facebook chat integration doesn't let you send messages to offline contacts. One has 222 votes the other has 115 votes. It would be cool if there was a way the users could vote to merge the two ideas and combine or pool the votes.

  10. When someone comments on an idea, other users should be allowed to mark that comment as a "good point". Comments that have been liked by other users would be placed near the top of the comments. This would allow for useful feedback on suggestions to be more visible.

  11. Would love to have certain keywords in a suggestion trigger an email immediately, as opposed to either an email for every suggestion, or one email at the end of the day.

  12. When receiving messages we need to have more than just the title and description. Other fields, such as associated budget, problem analysis, etc. would be useful. The administrator would also need to define the field type, if its required, and validation patterns.

  13. Provide the ability for admins to take an idea that was submitted and split it into two.
    The reason is because sometimes someone posts an idea that consists of two aspects, that to us, are two different ideas. Lets say we already have one feature they ask for but not another, we cannot assign the statuses to the requests properly.
    When splitting, just let us pick what description text and title to put in the new ticket. I realize splitting will cost the voter more votes, but if the workaround to avoid that is let us close one of the…

  14. I love the addition of moderation to ZenRep...if you have multiple forums, you may need different moderation needs per forum, so I think they should be applied at the forum level and not at the total accout level

  16. Merging ideas is fantastic but to have the idea merged as a comment isn't so good.

    Ideally, the merge should allow for a Parent/Child relationship i.e. both ideas continue as individual ideas rather than a comment of the other.

  17. When viewing the moderation queue, it would be helpful to see a visual cue that a suggestion is in the queue because it was flagged by an end-user. This could prevent some confusion about why an idea needs moderation.

  18. Have a prompt after clicking "Convert to ticket" since there's no way to undo it. Sometimes I accidentally click on it since I use "Merge idea…" so often. But then it becomes a pain to re-create the idea delete the ticket.

    There should be a confirmation dialog, or the ability to undo it.

  19. The Admin Console includes a sidebar with navigation links for topics like Analytics and Feedback, but access to General, Web Portal, Widget, Mobile, and Integration settings are only accessible from the gear icon in the top navbar. This tripped me up for a minute as I was trying to return to General settings. It's also inconsistent because when I visit General settings (for example) the sidebar remains visible with nothing marked as current.

  20. In very large communities with international customers, you end up with many "new topics" that say the same thing (because people don't know how to search), and within those topics, many capture the actual desired content poorly.
