  2. I would like to have a widget that works with a limited access (private) environment that I have configured. I am currently working around this by having the widget create content that required moderation. I then evaluate that content manually before adding it to the actual private environment. Having the widget support this workflow directly would cut down on my workload and would also provide appropriate feedback within the widget.

  4. As long as no one has commented on my newly-created topic yet, I should be able to...

    (1) change the title/description without restriction... if, say, 5 minutes later I think of a better one or spot a typo in it or whatever...

    (2) completely delete it, no questions asked, if, say, I realize right after posting it that it was lame, or I find out it's a duplicate or whatever...

  5. Instant answers in the widget can be great, but sometimes you just want users to use the contact form.

    Maybe so it's simpler for the user, or on that web page, you don't want Instant Answers to show. Having a way to turn off Instant Answers would be helpful.

  6. The “Include screenshot of this page” functionality of the new widget is great, but is currently cannot include certain images, SVG, or canvas in its generated images (this feature doesn’t take an actual screenshot, but creates an image based on the page’s HTML).

    It would be great if there were a way for these screenshots to include all these inline images as well.

  7. One user creates an idea and adds an attachment, with a relevant image or document. Admin would like other users to be able to add their own images/files in response to the original idea. Right now there's no way to do that with comments.

  9. I received an email today that asked "How would you describe your experience with ZenRep?" where all I had to do was click one of 4 links inside the email and my survey answer was recorded.

    I asked about it and sales told me it's an internal system that you're not planning on releasing as a feature of ZenRep? Why not? It's a slick user feedback tool which definitely falls in your wheelhouse!

  10. Instead of creating separate topics for each language, automatically translate content into each user’s own language. This would help prevent duplicate messages across different topics.

  11. "Was this page helpful" is something that we would like to have as a question in Satisfaction widget since we would like to use it for collecting feedback to our single pages on the web. Not for overall product feedback.

  12. Currently there's no way to even mark a word as bold or italic. Well, I guess you could make it ALL-CAPS (lame) or put something around it, but somehow both of those just seem somehow kludgey... I hate gratuitous colors and font-size changes as much as the next guy, but SOME formatting actually helps communicate better. How about adding support for at least some very simple markup like Markdown or Textile...?

  14. A customer has a group of folks that visit his site and give feedback. However, they only get feedback when they are notified there is a new idea to give feedback on (more of a collaboration tool really).

    Allowing users to subscribe to specific forums where new ideas are posted would greatly help in this case.

  16. Add option to give users automatic email notifications when they submit a new idea through ZenRep feedback tool. Basically just a "thank you" message that users receive automatically after they send in an idea.

    ZenRep Helpdesk tool offers it, we'd like to see it added to feedback.

  17. When a new user signs up, pull their avatar from either the 3rd-part profile they sign up with (already done), or with Gravatar (already done), but then allow the user to update their avatar however they like.

    People sometimes sign in with Facebook and then don't want their goofy Facebook photo on Zenrep.

    People who want to be anonymous but have a Gravatar acount get their photos added to their profile.

  19. We retake an idea that we consider basic for SEO results and rankings in web search motors:

    We have ZenRep setup on a subdomain of my site. It would be great if http://feedback.mydomain.com/sitemap.xml produced a valid sitemap of my forum content so that I could submit it to google web master tools. However it does not, the sitemap.xml contains urls for www.ZenRep.com

  20. New Widget needs to support SSO. The new widget currently does not support SSO. I have a private site and I have to currently use the Classic Widget instead. Please add the ability for the new widget to handle SSO.
